Asutifi District is one of the Twenty two (27) districts in Brong Ahafo. It is located between latitudes 6°40’ and 7°15’ North and Longitudes 2°15’ and 2°45’ West. The district capital is Kenyasi, which is about 50km from Sunyani, the regional capital of Brong Ahafo, through Atronie and Ntotroso. It shares boundaries with Sunyani Municipal in the North, Tano South District to the North East, Dormaa Municipal to North West, Asunafo North Municipal and Asunafo South District in the South West and Ahafo Ano South and North Districts (Ashanti Region) in the South East.
With a total land surface area of 1500 sq.km, the district is one of the smallest in the Brong Ahafo Region. There are a total of 117 settlements in the district and four paramouncies, namely: Kenyasi No.1 Kenyasi No.2, Hwidiem and Acherensua.

Other projects yet to be completed or done are available. However, the district needs more human resources for all the institutions especially in the health and education sector.
The District Police Commander of Kenyasi, ASP Teddy D Brown has issued a stem to all political parties and residents to abide by the rules governing the conduct of elections.
ASUTIFI N: Kenyasi No.1 Saamanhene Supports Hospitals The Saamanhene of Kenyasi No.1 Traditional Area, Nana Anim Dankwah has donated solar streetlight systems to two health facilities in the Asutifi North District of the Brong Ahafo region to support improved healthcare delivery for patients.
ASUTIFI N: DCE accounts to residents The Asutifi North District Assembly in the Brong Ahafo Region has held a District Public forum at Ntotroso to afford the District Chief Executive (DCE) and Heads of Department (HOD) an opportunity to brief residents of the area on developments executed in the district on their behalf.
ASUTIFI N: Ntotroso Circuit Wins GHARH Adolescent Debate The Asutifi North District Chapter of the Ghana Adolescent Reproductive Health Programme (GHARH), has organized a debate competition as a tool to sensitize Junior High Schools (JHS) students in the district on sexual reproductive health and other related adolescent issues.
